Maybe there’s hope for Microsoft to catch up now that Steve is no longer with us

Pretty impressive concepts, though I’m a bit skeptical to see Microsoft execute any of it after seeing Courier abandoned.

You know, I wanted to like this, but it actually got me thinking about how much technology has taken over my life, and how much I am actually beginning to question if the goals of these companies is truly to make our lives more efficient or to simply be in our face at every opportunity. My favorite part of this clip is where, at 1:58 into the movie, the first occurrence of eye contact not aided by a digital device is made. Dad and daughter enjoying some time together. For a second. Maybe two.

I don’t know, maybe I’m too harsh…I love all of the technological advances being made, and like to see the potential applications…thanks, by the way, for elaborating on what Tom Cruise basically showed us in Minority Report.

Am I right? Not often. But I don’t feel like I’m wrong on this one, either. Still sorting it out.

I have faith in them as far as the handheld tech goes, but the full on cars and stuff seems a bit more of a hurdle.
